Single component, clear amber epoxy VPI resin suitable for use at Class H temperatures.
Epoxylite ® H1004 is low in processing viscosity to provide good penetration and impregnation of windings on vacuum processing and cure to a tough resilient product.

Application:

General purpose VPI treatment of rotor and stator windings.

Processing:

Workpieces can be dipped / vacuum dipped or VPI processed in Epoxylite ® H1004 either at room temperature or pre-warmed to 50° C.

Containers of Epoxylite ® H1004 should be stored in a cool place away from direct sunlight or other heat sources.

Maintenance of Resin:

The viscosity and gel-time of Epoxylite ® H1004 in tanks should be regularly monitored and maintained within the recommended limits.
