Quality Control

Wilec, recognizing that the quality of its enamelled conductor products is of prime importance to its customers, has integrated quality assurance into each stage of production, processing and control.

transwire_3Raw materials are selected on the basis of quality and are then subject to rigorous incoming inspection before being released for further processing. Each stage of production is monitored by our quality control department with the set-up of each order being approved only after exhaustive testing.

Process control equipment of the highest caliber ensures the production of consistent product, with the quality control department testing each order on each production shift to ensure our standards are maintained.

The ISO9002 Quality Management System has been operating since 1988 and is well established and audited on a regular basis by the SABS. The Transwire product is also accredited to the SABS standardization mark. Post permit inspections are conducted by the SABS. The company prides itself on the test facilities available which are capable of ensuring the highest standards are maintained. These facilities are available to customers at all times.
