ISONOM ® NKN 13 0887
ISONOM® NKN 13 0887 consists of Polyimide film (e.ge. Kapton'), covered on both sides with calendered Nomex¹ type 416.
ISONOM® NKN 13 0887 is mainly used as a slot liner, slot closure and phase insulation in thermal high stresses electrical motors.
ISONOM® NKN 13 0887 is also used as interlayer insulation in transformers and other electrical machines and appliances.
ISONOM® NKN 13 0887 is combined flexible material of thermal rating class 180 – 200°C with good mechanical properties like high tensile strength and high tear resistance combined with high electrical strength.
ISONOM® NKN 13 0887 has smooth surface which allows a trouble free manufacturing of low voltage motors where coil inserting machines are used.

Electrical Insulation System
Single component, epoxy VPI resin, high thermal stability
Epoxylite ® TSA 220 FM is a single component, 100 % solids epoxy VPI resin specifically designed for VPI impregnation of traction armatures and coils which can operate at temperatures up to 220 ° C.
Epoxylite ® TSA 220 FM is a specifically formulated version of Epoxylite TSA 220 S to provide improved film coating and film build. This product can be processed without pre-heating.
Epoxy resins of this type are 100% solids systems resulting in low emissions on cure. Polymerization of the pre-catalysed product is initiated by heat and occurs as a rapid chain reaction until a three dimensionally, cross-linked, duroplastic cured material has been produced.
The resin system is compatible with most commonly used insulation materials /systems and in conjunction with suitable insulation components will operate at temperatures up to 220ºC

The TeraOhm is an ultra high range insulation resistance testing instrument. With an output voltage of up to 5000 volts DC the TeraOhm will measure up to 5T (5,000,000 Meg ).
The test voltage can be selected in increments of 50 volts.The duration of the test can be set by the operator. At the end to the test period, the sample is automatically discharged and the insulation resistance is indicated on the display.
Polarization Index tests can also be automatically conducted. At the end of the ten minute period, PI is automatically calculated and up to 1000 results can be stored in the instrument. These results can easily be recalled or can be transferred to a PC using the optional windows software TeraLink+.
The instrument can also be used to measure capacitance up to 50 uF, voltage up to 600 VAC or VDC, and frequency.
The standard instrument is supplied with rechargeable batteries, a calibration certificate and a soft sided carrying case. Batteries recharge using a “ built-in” charger.
