POROBAND ® 2734

POROBAND ® 2734 consists of absorbent mica paper and a glass cloth as carrier.  The mica paper in addition is covered with a thin PET-fleece.  POROBAND ® 2734 is a flexible tape, suitable for hand and machine taping.  The PET-fleece backer prevents splitting of mica particles during taping process and contributes to rapid impregnation.  The mechanical and electrical properties of the final insulation are destined mainly by the used impregnating resin.  POROBAND ® 2734 is compatible with solventless epoxy- and polyester resins.

Applications

POROBAND ® 2734 is used in VPI-systems for the insulation of coils and bars of low and high voltage machines.
