NOMEX® TYPE 414
NOMEX® Type 414 is designed for applications requiring a strong, yet flexible and conformable sheet. It is electrically and thermally similar to NOMEX® Type 410, but is calendered under different conditions to provide its unique properties. NOMEX® Type 414 is produced in five thicknesses (0.09 to 0.38 mm) (3.4 to 15 mil), with a density from 0.9 to 1.0. NOMEX® Type 414 was designed for use as slot insulation in hand-wound motors and for linear wrapping of wire, but is also used in other applications where its specific characteristics are desirable, such as folded or punched parts. Another example is its use as sheet insulation in fluid-filled transformer applications due to its improved impregnability versus NOMEX® Type 410.
ISOSEAL ® P 0713, P 2729
ISOSEAL ® P consists of a polyester-fabric impregnated with a thermosetting epoxy-resin which remains flexible after curing. ISOSEAL ® P 0713 and ISOSEAL ® P 2729 have a different B-stage grade. ISOSEAL ® P 2729 shows lower resin flow. The standard type is ISOSEAL ® P 0713. The resin in ISOSEAL ® P is softening under temperature and gives a tight and smooth waterproof surface after curing. ISOSEAL ® P remains flexible after curing and can be formed without damage to the insulation. ISOSEAL ® P has very good tension and elongation properties and are therefore taping without wrinkles is possible.
ISOSEAL ® P is mainly used for protecting the overhang part of low and high voltage coils and bars against ambient stress and wherever a flexible waterproof insulation is required.
maximum width 1100 mm
Tapes from 10 mm width upward
ISOSEAL ® P 0713 is supplied interleaved.

PAPERPREG® H1300 80
PAPERPREG® H1300 80 is amaterial made by lacquering of paper with phenol-formaldehyde varnish.
This is a B-stage delivered material that must be further cured.
PAPERPREG® H1300 80 is used to manufacture tubes under certain pressure and temperature conditions.
Rolls of 1090/1260 +10/-0 mm width.
Other roll widths or sheets are also available upon request.
To be stored for maximum 1 month at max 25°C. in vertical position.
If this period is exceeded, the parameters of the material must be periodically inspected.
The recommended temperature to finish the curing process is max. 160°C.
The processing conditions need to be adapted to suit for the special application.
